    Magistrato dal 1975. In pensione dal giugno 2017, come Procuratore Aggiunto di Palermo. In precedenza sostituto procuratore a Monza, Roma ( per 13 anni) e Palermo . In seguito Sost. procuratore generale a Palermo ed Ispettore Generale Capo presso il Ministero della Giustizia . Dal 2009 al 2017 Procuratore Aggiunto a Palermo con delega, tra le altre al coordinamento della DDA Palermo Est. Nel 1988 tra i fondatori del Movimento per la Giustizia. Attualmente presidente della Fondazione Progetto Legalità per Paolo Borsellino e tutte le vittime della mafia.
